About the Author
Jacqui has never forgotten the magic of The Flying Horses Carousel in Oak Bluffs, Martha's Vineyard. This experience inspired her first picture book, Where Horses Fly. Jacqui started writing stories in kindergarten and never stopped.
Jacqui grew up in Massachusetts and now lives in the mountains of the Carolinas.
She has a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Wellesley College. Before becoming a full-time writer, she worked in careers that involved numbers, but her passion was to write.
When she’s not working on writing stories for children, she’s spending time in nature, hiking, and visiting with family.
